This was a pretty useful thread for those trying to get a better understanding of how cryptocurrencies work.

Right now there are only TWO models logged in for shows. It is still in beta so maybe that will change as time goes on. I'm noticing more and more cammodels asking questions about receiving crypto payments. And some camsites have this as an option. But an entire camsite based on crypto? That's a bold strategy.

This is the info I got from the site:
1. We pay much more than any other live webcam site. Only 5% fees. As opposed to the typical 50%
2. No chargebacks, payouts as often as you like. You are in full control of your money once earned. Powered by crypto.
3. No censorship, no closed accounts. Run by models, for models.
No censorship? Does that mean ANYTHING goes here? Can people use their platform for real time meetups?

@naomicourtney I found it! My google fu is strong!

Does that really mean that William Shatner supports spankchain? Or is this an attempt to get him to endorse their platform? It's a hell of an effort.

The TOS says nothing that is illegal in the United States.

ETA: The user agreement has a better list of no-nos.

I got approved, I'm going to play around with it and see what I can do. It seems to be a hang out type of vibe so I want to try watching and talking about college football on there.

I'm going to give it some more thought before I start streaming.

It seems like they don't understand 2257 laws. Specifically that there needs to be records at a physical location. Their 2257 statement is incorrect as it doesn't list a physical address.

Me asking about it on twitter when they talked about the future possibility of putting IDs on the blockchain:

It's a clever idea, but not feasible until they change the law.

I don't want to put a lot of work into a site that might get shut down, especially since they are cracking down on that stuff due to SESTA/FOSTA.

Spanklive is also trying to make moves in the world of gaming, but I'm not sure how popular it is? Like I see models mentioning it's for gamers on forums, but Spanklive doesn't, have I missed something?

It's not really popular at all. They even admitted that last week they received over $500 in non-etherium payments. I guess etherium makes up the rest, but I would think there is no way that its more than another $500.
